Copernicus

Copernicus

Copernicus is an aluminum ashtray that is particularly suitable for the outdoors. The ability to open and close the ashtray ensures that ash will not be scattered when one has finished smoking and rotated the lid to close the ashtray. Keeping the tray closed means that the foul odors of ash and spent cigarettes will be kept within the tray when the tray is not in use. The name for this product stems from the brass pin that is press fit into the center of the rotating lid. I named the tray Copernicus after Nicolaus Copernicus who first proposed a heliocentric model of planetary orbit in the 1500’s.
